LAGOS WRITERS CELEBRATE PATRON’S DAYYou are cordially invited to ANA Lagos Patron’s Day, scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 8, 2007. This year’s edition is dedicated to the host, Mr Tayo Aderinokun, a renowned patron of the arts and MD, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) PLC – the bank which recently made history as the first bank in Africa to be listed on the London Stock Exchange.ANA Lagos Patron’s Day is a day set aside by creative writers resident in Lagos, under the umbrella of Association of Nigerian Authors, Lagos Branch, ANALagos, for the celebration of the few charitable individuals and organisations that have made meaningful contributions towards the advancement of Nigerian Literature, and our great Association.Theme: Poetic Rites, Human Rights and the Politics of Otherness in Nigeria.
